Hari

Chairman and CEO

Hari started his career trading Credit Derivatives at UBS and later Calyon, where he developed skills in risk management and decision-making under pressure — competencies that have shaped everything since.

He moved into entrepreneurship from 2010, co-founding several women’s fashion and accessory brands. One of those brands won a UK Fashion Industry award in 2019 and was successfully exited to the senior team — a milestone he describes as a great lesson in starting, scaling and building something that lasts.

From 2019 to 2024, Hari wrote the business column for an industry trade magazine, keeping him close to trends, current affairs and the effects of government and the economy on independently owned businesses. During lockdown, he acquired a portfolio of hair salons, introducing operational efficiencies and a social media presence that drove steady profitability — and ultimately led to selling most of them at a considerable profit.

Today, Hari is actively acquiring businesses in the grounds maintenance and arborist sector, bringing together his finance background, operational focus and eye for brand and customer experience.

Roger

Group Managing Director

With 40 years’ experience in amenity horticulture, arboriculture, turfculture, highways maintenance and environmental services, Roger has overseen contracts and operations across both the public and private sectors.

He has held senior managerial roles including Director, Managing Director, Head of Commercial Services, Head of Parks and Open Spaces, Contracts Manager and Operations Manager — leading multi-site teams and managing a wide range of high-value contracts. His responsibilities have spanned compliance, ISO accreditation, health and safety management (NEBOSH Gen Cert), employment law, client expectation management, contract specification and delivery, and contract tendering.

His track record includes Gold in South and Southeast in Bloom, a Horticulture Week award and Green Flag Awards Judge. He holds individual memberships with SOLACE, IOSH (Technical Member), ISEP (Associate Member), and ICCM.

Adrian

Group General Manager

With over 30 years’ experience overseeing contracts and operations for UHNW private residential estates, local government and national grounds maintenance organisations, Adrian has held senior managerial roles including General, Contracts, Operations, Program Manager and supervisory positions.

He has led multi-site teams across local and regional locations and managed a wide range of high-value grounds contracts, with compliance, risk management and stakeholder engagement forming key fundamentals of delivery.

His track record includes organising and delivering large social value events, and he holds memberships with the Grounds Management Association (GMA), the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management (ICCM) and the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA).

Lukas

Grasstex — Contracts Manager

Lukas is a highly driven Contracts Manager with over 14 years of hands-on and leadership experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance and highway operations.

Starting his career as a brush cutter operator, he progressed through operational and management roles, building strong expertise in site delivery, team leadership and client service.

With specialist knowledge in highway maintenance and sports turf renovation, Lukas oversees the West Sussex County Council contract and multiple parish contracts, ensuring safe, efficient and consistent service delivery. He is recognised for his resilience, clarity and results-focused approach.

Matt

Apex Sports Turf Contracts Manager

Matt is a sports turf professional at Apex Sports, with experience in the construction, renovation, maintenance and drainage of natural grass sports surfaces and fine turf environments.

With a strong practical background and extensive industry knowledge, he is committed to delivering high-quality results through professional standards, attention to detail and efficient project delivery.

Alongside his technical expertise, Matt has experience in contract management, developing and maintaining strong client relationships, and providing sports turf consultancy — helping to ensure projects are delivered successfully and in line with client objectives.

As part of the Apex team, he plays a key role in delivering specialist turf solutions, combining modern machinery, advanced techniques and a meticulous approach to workmanship across a broad range of projects.

Matthew

Grasstex — Contracts Manager

Matthew brings over a decade of hands-on operational experience, having progressed from working directly on the ground to leading teams at every level. This journey has shaped his practical, site-based approach to leadership, training and management, always driving the high standards he expects.

With a strong background in private gardens and connections to the RHS, Matthew’s expertise in plant identification supports both excellent site presentation and the long-term health of plants through correct horticultural practices. Combined with his commitment to exceptional customer service, he delivers a reliable, professional service clients can trust.

Jake

Treetex Arboriculture Contracts Manager

Jake is an experienced Contracts Manager specialising in arboriculture and site management. He oversees project delivery from initial quotation through to completion, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and to the highest professional standards.

With a strong focus on compliance, financial oversight and operational planning, Jake plays a central role in coordinating teams, managing client relationships and supporting the strategic growth of the business.

Known for his hands-on approach and clear communication, he brings together technical expertise with practical problem-solving to deliver reliable, high-quality outcomes across projects.

Jack

Jack is a Contracts Manager with experience in Grounds Maintenance. Known for his clear communication, reliability, and solution-focused approach, he ensures client satisfaction while keeping health and safety at the forefront of every decision.

His combination of onsite experience and strong contract knowledge enables him to build and maintain effective working relationships, delivering consistency and confidence across all projects he manages.

Stewart

Treetex — Contracts Manager

Stewart is a reliable and conscientious professional with a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance in his work. Known for a practical approach and attention to detail, Stewart takes pride in delivering tasks to a high standard while following site rules, procedures and industry best practice.

He is experienced in working on operational sites and understands the importance of clear communication, risk awareness and environmental responsibility. Stewart works effectively both independently and as part of a team, maintaining a calm and professional manner in all situations.

Lewis

Grasstex — Supervisor

Lewis oversees the day-to-day running of sites, ensuring that all grounds maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of workmanship. His responsibilities include coordinating teams, organising schedules, monitoring site conditions, and making sure all tasks are carried out in line with company procedures and client expectations.

Having progressed into this role from an operative position, he has developed a strong practical understanding of all aspects of grounds maintenance through years of hands-on experience. This background allows him to lead by example, provide guidance and support to team members, and maintain a consistent standard of quality across every project undertaken.

Yvonne

Grasstex — Finance & Administration

With experience in administration and purchase ledger, Yvonne joined Grasstex in 2008 as an admin assistant. Since then, her role has expanded to include responsibility for a wide range of finance functions.

These include staff payroll, producing and issuing sales invoices to customers, ensuring timely payment collection, and managing the purchase ledger so supplier invoices are received, recorded and paid accurately.

With an eye for detail and many years of knowledge of the growing customer base, Yvonne provides friendly and dependable service to parishes, clients and suppliers alike.

Roelien

Treetex — Finance & Administration

Roelien brings a strong background in commercial operations and finance, supporting business performance through accurate financial administration, reporting and budget oversight.

Known for her organised, detail-driven and people-focused approach, she works closely with operational teams to ensure financial controls, compliance and day-to-day processes support effective service delivery.

She brings a resilient and professional approach to her work, with a strong focus on continuous improvement. Bilingual in Afrikaans and English, she contributes confidently across diverse teams and environments.

Toby

Treetex — Contracts Administrator

Toby is a Contracts Administrator with ten years of practical experience across construction, utilities and grounds maintenance. His background includes hydrovac operations, heavy equipment work and civil construction, including experience on major infrastructure projects such as the Eglinton LRT.

This mix of field roles has given him a solid understanding of safety procedures, site coordination and day-to-day operational requirements.

Since moving to the UK, Toby has transitioned into an office-based role supporting contract administration, compliance and project coordination. He holds a PRINCE2 Foundation certification and brings a clear, organised and practical approach to contract delivery.

Steve

Grasstex — Contracts Administrator

Steve has worked at Grasstex since 2023, focusing on contract administration and project coordination across a range of landscaping works — tracking variations, supporting procurement and keeping communication flowing between teams.

He previously spent over 15 years in the insurance industry, a background that has sharpened his organisational skills and instinct for problem solving. Steve is motivated by helping projects stay on track and delivering results the company can stand behind.

Rebecca

Rebecca comes from a teaching background where she discovered her talent for guiding others, and creating spaces where people feel supported and inspired. Her time in the classroom strengthened her patience, adaptability and the ability to be a strong administrator — qualities that continue to shape her work and relationships today.

She thrives in environments where creativity meets purpose, whether she’s diving into a new project, exploring fresh ideas, or supporting the people around her. She is driven by her love of learning and likes to continually expand her skills, enjoying learning about new industries and people.

Kerry

Group Compliance Administration

Kerry has a background in HR, management, finance and compliance, bringing a practical and organised approach to supporting people and processes.

She looks after compliance for Greenblade Group, supporting audits, documentation control and day-to-day system administration to keep standards consistent across the business. Kerry’s varied experience strengthens her ability to maintain clear procedures, assist colleagues and contribute to the smooth running of operations.
